Between the back and the d3o comfortable 3 mm foam at the back. Adjustable shoulder straps and hip belt for the perfect fit. Demon X D3O Spine Protector to prevent heavy injuries to the spine and lower back. The D3O protector captures the force of the blow and spread it over the back protector so that pain does not focus on a particular bone or joint but is spreading. D3O soft in free state is in a crash hard and soft afterwards again in a free state. D3o effective and comfortable.
